How LPASafe works
No forms to face alone. You tell us what you want, we prepare and check the official document, and you just sign.
In short
With LPASafe you answer a few questions by voice or typing, we complete the official LP1F or LP1H form, a real person checks it against every OPG rejection reason, and we email it to you with a clear signing order. You sign and register it with the Office of the Public Guardian.
Answer a few questions
Tell us your wishes by voice or by typing, at your own pace. We ask in plain English: who your attorneys are, how they should act, and any preferences. There is nothing to download or puzzle over.
We prepare your LPA
We complete the official LP1F (property and financial affairs) or LP1H (health and welfare) form from your answers, wording everything the way the OPG expects.
A real person checks it
Before anything is signed, a real person checks your LPA against every reason the OPG rejects applications: the signing order, eligible certificate provider, allowed instructions, matching names and dates.
You sign and register
We email your finished LPA with a clear, step-by-step signing order. You sign in the right order, then send it to the OPG with the £92 fee to register.
Built for everyone
Voice or typing, your pace
The forms-averse and the time-poor both get the same result. Done-For-You lets you speak your answers; Self-Guided lets you type them with a live checker alongside.
Answer by voice
Speak your answers instead of typing. Ideal if screens or forms are hard work.
A human check
A real person reviews your LPA against the OPG rejection criteria before you sign.
A clear signing order
We tell you exactly who signs, in what order, so the most common mistake never happens.
Frequently asked questions
Can I answer by voice?
Yes. With Done-For-You you can speak your answers instead of typing, which suits anyone who finds forms or screens difficult. You go at your own pace and can stop and come back.
Do you sign or register the LPA for me?
No. By law you sign it yourself, in the correct order, and you register it with the OPG. We prepare and check the form and give you a clear signing order, so the parts you do are simple.
What will I need to hand?
The full names, addresses and dates of birth of your attorneys and any replacements, and an idea of how you want them to act. We guide you through the rest.
How long does the whole thing take?
Preparing and signing usually takes a few days around everyone's schedules. Registration with the OPG then takes up to 20 weeks if there are no mistakes, which is why the check matters.
LPASafe covers England and Wales only. Scotland and Northern Ireland use different systems. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. The LP1F and LP1H forms are available free on gov.uk.
