Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated 3 November 2026
We want you to be happy with our service. Here is where you stand on cancelling and on refunds.
Our 30-day money-back guarantee
On top of your statutory rights, we offer a simple promise: if you have not yet received your prepared LPA document, you can ask us for a full refund within 30 days of ordering, no quibble. Once we have delivered the prepared document to you, this guarantee no longer applies, but your statutory rights below and our No-Rejection Promise still stand.
Your 14-day right to cancel
Because you buy our service online as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from placing your order to change your mind and cancel for a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
When work has already started
If you ask us to begin preparing your LPA within that 14-day period, you are agreeing that we can start straight away. If we have fully delivered the prepared document before the 14 days are up, the right to cancel is lost. If we have only partly performed the service when you cancel, we may keep a reasonable amount in proportion to the work done, and refund the rest.
If you would rather preserve your full right to cancel, simply tell us not to start work until the 14 days have passed.
The OPG registration fee
The Office of the Public Guardian registration fee is paid by you directly to the OPG and is not part of our charge, so it is not something we refund. If you qualify for fee remission, the OPG handles that reduction.
The No-Rejection Promise
Separately from cancellation, if the OPG rejects your LPA for a reason we were responsible for checking, our No-Rejection Promise means we correct it and cover the resubmission fee. That is in addition to your statutory rights.
How to cancel or ask for a refund
Email us at richard@lpasafe.co.uk with your order details. We will confirm your cancellation and process any refund due to your original payment method, usually within 14 days.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your right to a service carried out with reasonable care and skill.
