Terms of Service
Last updated 3 November 2026
These terms govern your use of LPASafe and the services we provide. Please read them before placing an order.
1. Who we are
LPASafe is a trading name of Richard Wood trading as LPASafe, part of WSC Group, a sole trader based in Bromborough, Wirral, CH63 0LE. You can contact us at richard@lpasafe.co.uk. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZC289878 (WSC Group).
2. We are not a law firm
LPASafe is not a law firm and is not a substitute for a solicitor. We do not provide legal advice and nothing on this website or in our service is legal advice. We prepare the official lasting power of attorney forms from the information you give us and check them against the Office of the Public Guardian’s published requirements. If you need advice on your individual circumstances, you should consult a qualified solicitor.
3. Jurisdiction
Our service covers lasting powers of attorney for England and Wales only. The law and forms differ in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and we do not provide documents for those jurisdictions.
4. What we provide
Depending on the service you choose, we prepare and check the official LP1F (property and financial affairs) and/or LP1H (health and welfare) forms, and provide a clear order in which the LPA should be signed. You remain responsible for signing the LPA correctly and for sending it to the Office of the Public Guardian to register, together with the applicable registration fee.
The registration fee is payable to the Office of the Public Guardian and is separate from our charges. We show it clearly before you order.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, including the names, addresses and dates of birth of your attorneys and any instructions or preferences. We prepare the LPA from what you provide, and we cannot be responsible for errors arising from inaccurate or incomplete information.
6. The No-Rejection Promise
Our No-Rejection Promise is set out in full on our guarantee page and forms part of these terms. In summary, if the Office of the Public Guardian rejects your LPA for a reason we were responsible for checking, we will correct the document and cover the fee to resubmit it. The promise does not guarantee that your LPA will be registered, as that decision rests with the Office of the Public Guardian.
7. Payment
Prices are shown on our pricing page and are payable in full at the time of ordering. Prices include VAT where applicable.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Your cancellation and refund rights are set out on our refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
9. Liability
We provide our service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for delays or decisions of the Office of the Public Guardian.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you place it.
